Amr Shady

Founder and Executive Chairman

Amr Shady is Founder and Executive Chairman of TA Telecom. With over 17 years of executive experience in the telecom industry, Amr’s vision7earned the company he co-founded at the age of 23, the engagement of over 36 million users, an analytics-based spinoff in Silicon Valley, and several awards including the Red Herring Top 100 Europe award for 2015’s most promising private technology ventures. Since his selection as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Amr has been actively involved in fostering the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the MEA region by advising and mentoring entrepreneurs. He has been serving as an Endeavor Egypt board member since 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Canada’s Dalhousie University, where he enrolled at the age of 16. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Analytics at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Sameh Ibrahim

As the CEO of TA Telecom, Sameh Ibrahim leads with an innovation-driven approach that accelerates business growth, strengthens strategic partnerships, and promotes regional expansion. His professional path, extending over two decades, is marked by varied roles in business leadership, corporate strategy, investment management, cash management, and financial governance. His time at TA Telecom is distinguished by his comprehensive management of financial operations, including accounting, auditing, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations.

Prior to his engagement with TA Telecom in 2009, Sameh held key positions as Audit Manager and CFO at Arab Accountants, an IFAB independent member of KRESTON International. His earlier career also includes a notable period as an Auditor at H.A. ElMeniawy chartered accountants & tax consultants from 2000 to 2003.

He obtained his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Cairo University in 1999. Advancing his credentials, Sameh became a licensed Chartered Accountant for joint stock companies in 2010, accredited by the Accountants & Auditors Register under the Ministry of Finance in Egypt.
